Klarna came to us to help them optimise and produce these four amazing colourful artworks created by renowned Spanish artist Ignasi Monreal, realising the UK’s biggest ever mural campaign. They created bespoke artworks for each mural, helping Klarna dispel myths surrounding the business as part of an integrated strategy. Each mural had an integrated QR code that activated as photos were taken of the artworks, driving them to a light hearted web game to complete the brand story.

The murals generated over 160,000 visits to the mobile experience, with 45,000 dispelling all 7 myths in the game. Brand trust increased from 58% to 67% and positive sentiment towards Klarna increased 52% during 2021. In addition, monthly active users of the Klarna app increased 7.3% from May to July with no other media activity running.
